Information We Collect

Member profiles contain your name, GHIN number, email address, cell phone number, and your five shared-value commitments. Planning records include your Friday responses and requested partner. Round records include assigned groups, playing handicaps, gross scores, and score correction history. Prospective-member applications also contain the golf résumé you choose to provide.

The service stores access sessions and operational records needed to save changes and protect member access. Hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and secure the service.

How Information Is Used

Dave uses this information to review applications, manage the group, organize golf, and help members use the hub. A prospective submission emails Dave the profile, golf résumé, and commitment confirmation.

Names, weekly playing plans, assigned playing handicaps, scores, standings, finalized winnings and the season money list are visible to authorized group members. Score correction history, private prize proposals and organizer decisions are private to organizers. Contact information, GHIN details, golf résumés, and application reviews are private to the member and authorized organizers. Loyalty points are private to the player and Dave.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Your Choices and Deletion

You can review and change your plans and profile. Signing out clears the saved session from the device; it does not delete your shared records.

In the installed member app, choose Delete My App Data and confirm to delete your member profile, plans, scores, loyalty record, invitation drafts, and access sessions. Finalized results retain anonymous accounting totals to preserve the group’s records; your name, identifiable score detail and member association are removed from those results. This removes your app access, so contact Dave if you later want to rejoin.

Prospective applications submitted before membership are separate records. To request removal of a prospective application or ask a privacy question, contact Dave at davidjameshorne@gmail.com. Dave will confirm the request and what records it covers before removing them.

Website and Service Providers

The hub and its videos are hosted on mybuzzardsbay.com using WordPress.com services. Opening a website or video from the app connects to those services. Apple or Google also process information associated with distributing their apps under their own privacy policies.

We keep information while it is needed to manage your membership or review your application, unless you request deletion. For questions about a specific record, contact Dave.
