Yesterday Vigilant and 4 other boats from The Bay Club traveled to Lake Tashmoo on Martha’s Vineyard for our annual outing. We started doing this in 2015 and last year I reported on our trip to Weepecket Island.
With 5 boats, we ended up with about 35 friends. We ran into trouble right off the bat as the Vineyard Haven Harbor Master showed up right after we got all 5 boats rafted and told us we could raft a maximum of 3.
We had the two outer boats pull away and anchor, but it was a huge pain. It also meant that we had all 35 people on the remaining 3 boats or in the water.
But as they say, “the more the merrier”!
We enjoyed great friends, swimming, food, Vigilant Mai Tai’s, music, and even some dancing – such fun…
The Photo Album
I posted my photos on Facebook along with Sue, Liz, Angela, Tina, and Larry. Since I know many of our friends aren’t on Facebook, I downloaded them all and am posting them here. If anyone has more, please email them to me and I’ll add them.
