The second day of our 2019 inaugural cruise found us in Oak Bluffs. We started the day with a bike ride to The Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven for brunch.

After some shopping for grand kids and a leisurely afternoon on Vigilant, we all ended up at The Martha’s Vineyard Chowder Company for an early dinner and then off to The Ritz for live Music.

Having always enjoyed incredible music at The Ritz, I knew we were going to see great local talent.

What I didn’t expect to experience was a bit of a spiritual evening along with my Lagunitas Draft!

After the first set, I introduced myself to the lead singer – Sean McMahon and learned that he is a fellow Christian and his band specializes in spiritual covers – quite appropriate for a Sunday evening on the islands.

As you may recall, last year I started a page on this site called Live Music where I publish short videos of the musicians we discover in our travels.
