Spread the love

I have too many eBikes! Mrs. Horne wants more space in the garage and two eBikes must go. After considering what bikes our guests like to ride and which bikes have the greatest demand on the Used eBike Market, I have decided to sell our Black and White Vektron D8s.

They were both serviced at Mission Electric in June. I spoke to the shop owner and he said they would sell quickly on Facebook Marketplace, so I thought I’d give the My Buzzards Bay Community first crack.

Ideally Suited For Boats

We bought these for Relentless – our Sabre 48, and they were perfect for a boat without a lift or crane. They weigh 49 lbs, but with the battery removed, they are under 40 lbs. Even an old dog like me can lift them on and off the boat with one hand.

Unlike the other mail-order eBikes I have, which can only be serviced by yours truly, we have an excellent Tern dealer in Providence RI.

Tern Vektron D8

Tern is a very high-end bike company that focuses on innovative designs for folding bikes (both conventional and electric.)

These are both 2022 models (click here to see all the specs and details on the Tern website).

They are very clean, professionally maintained, and ready to ride off. The white one has about 800 miles on it and the black one has just over 700.

Mission Electric said Terns seldom get to the used bike market – people keep them in the family or sell them to friends (there are none for sale in the US right now).

I paid $2,200 for each of them and Mission Electric recommended a price of:

$1,000 (Asking)

I don’t know if this is good price or not, but if you’re interested, email me at davidjameshorne@gmail.com.
